Terms & Conditions of Booking
The following Terms and Conditions together with the general information on our website form the basis of the contract for your holiday. All reservations are made subject to these terms.
Reservation is confirmed and a binding contract is made between you and us the owners (A E Kiddy & Son) on receipt of your deposit. Deposits are non-refundable unless we are unable to honour the booking.
The deposit required to confirm a booking is £100. If more than one cottage is being booked these are considered as separate bookings and so a deposit is required for each.
If full payment is not made at the time of booking the balance must be paid 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation of your holiday. Please note that reminders will not be sent. For bookings made 6 weeks or less in advance the full amount is payable on booking.
Cancellations must be received in writing and the balance will be due unless we are able to re-let the cottage. If the cottage is only re-let for a shorter period or at a lower price the refund will be for the lower amount. Deposits are non-refundable.
We recommend that guests take out holiday cancellation insurance.
Visitors undertake to leave the accommodation in a clean and tidy condition as found.
Visitors are responsible for any breakages or damage and must inform the owners of this.
The owners reserve the right to compensation for any damage discovered after the guests have departed.
We have no smoking or vaping policy in the cottages and in the courtyard.
Dogs are accepted in all the cottages, at no extra charge, please enter on the booking form. Dogs must not be left in the property unattended.
The right of access to the property is retained by the owners.
The owners reserve the right to terminate the booking without refund of money if the behaviour of any guest is considered unacceptable or if the number of occupants exceeds that stated on the booking confirmation.
Any visitor using the Wissett Farm Holidays Guests Wi-Fi to access the internet must not use it to download pirated material such as music, games or other inappropriate material.
Bookings are from 4:00pm on the day of arrival until 10:00am on the day of departure.
On arrival your cottage will be unlocked, make yourselves at home and we will greet you, socially distanced, as soon as we can.
Our Covid Guarantee:
If your holiday is cancelled due to lockdown or if you test positive for Covid we will transfer your booking to another date without charge. If you are unable to re-book at the time we can either retain your payment as credit for a new booking or make a full refund.
